Install the NadsX extension

Connect the browser side of your NadsX workspace.

Before you start

Use the release or installation package supplied by your NadsX distribution channel. Keep your browser and extension current.

Follow these steps

Open the official extension release page when one is provided. For an unpacked release, extract the complete extension package first.

For an unpacked installation, open chrome://extensions, enable developer mode and use Load unpacked to select the folder containing manifest.json.

Enable NadsX, open the workspace and refresh previously opened workspace and Facebook pages after an update.

Check your result

Open environment diagnostics in the workspace. Check the extension connection and the channels needed by your feature.

Preflight checklist

Confirm the release channel and unzip the complete package when using an unpacked build.
Use the same browser profile for the extension, workspace and required Facebook session.
After enabling or updating the extension, refresh the workspace and previously opened Facebook tabs.

Troubleshooting

The extension is installed but diagnostics show no connection.

Check that it is enabled in this profile, refresh both pages and rerun diagnostics. Installation in another profile does not connect this workspace.

The selected folder cannot be loaded.

Choose the extracted folder that directly contains manifest.json. A ZIP file or its parent folder is not the unpacked extension directory.
